The Boy Who Cried POOH!

For the past few months we have been attempting to help Isaac recognize his bodily functions. He has responded quite well and has been getting acquainted with his new shiny potty, however, unlike the words "Ice cream" or "pickles" Isaac's selective hearing has not learned to recognize the call of nature. There two typical scenarios that occur when Isaac hollers POOH! The first, and most common, Isaac will be scooped up by one of his parents and rushed to the mini-throne with pants and diaper flying off moments before he lands on the pot. His Majesty then requests a book, maybe a toy or two, and seems to forget about why he is where he is. It is only moments after a fresh clean diaper is reinstalled that he decides to conduct business.
The second scenario also includes the rushing part as described previously but the delivery is made before the drop point. (His parents have become wise and learned to quickly check the diapers status prior to hastily removing it.) There have been a couple successful deliveries to date for which Isaac has been highly praised and rewarded. Isaac seems to think this new game is quite a lot of fun and Emily and I have also found much humor in it.
